Darryl A. Elmouchi, M.D.

Darryl A. Elmouchi, M.D, is the current Chief Operating Officer for Providence. Responsible for operational oversight and strategy, he works to ensure access to vital, high-quality and affordable services. He leads care delivery across Providence’s footprint, as well as supply chain, real estate, compliance and serves as a key member of the system executive team.

Prior to this role, Dr. Elmouchi served as COO of Corewell Health, headquartered in Michigan, overseeing operations, clinical care delivery and financial performance for the organization.

A practicing physician until 2020, Dr. Elmouchi earned his medical degree from University of Michigan Medical School, his MBA from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and holds a certificate in biostatistics from University of Michigan School of Public Health. He completed his internship, residency and chief residency at University of California, San Francisco and fellowships in cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular medicine at University of Michigan Health System.
