Dr. Brown joined Hospice of Lubbock November 1, 2010, in preparation for changes in Medicare guidelines that required a face-to-face visit from a physician or nurse practitioner beginning Jan. 1, 2011. Born and raised in West Texas, he completed his undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University with a BA in Music. Dr. Brown then spent eight years at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston where he completed medical school and a four-year combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
