At St. Joseph Hospital, cancer care doesn’t end with cancer treatment. Our unique Cancer Wellness Program is dedicated to providing ongoing physical and emotional support services to improve our patients’ quality of life. Aligned with our values of compassion, dignity, justice, excellence and integrity, our program is free for patients with cancer who have completed active treatment or who are currently receiving long-term maintenance therapy.

In order to help patients transition from cancer treatment to a well-balanced, healthy and vibrant life, our cancer wellness program uses evidence-based practices that address the Four Pillars of Wellness:

- Exercise
- Lifestyle
By focusing on these specialties, we’re able to help patients decrease the chance of cancer recurrence, reduce the risk of developing another cancer, increase survival rates and improve quality of life.
Our team of wellness and exercise specialists is passionate about improving and sustaining the health and well-being of our patients. In order to serve each patient as they begin the post-treatment phase of their survivorship, the program staffs a multidisciplinary group of cancer care experts.
