The Providence Heart Institute brings together an expert team of cardiologists, heart surgeons, nurses and others to perform advanced cardiac procedures and search for new and improved ways to treat heart disease.  

We have clinics throughout Western Montana, including Missoula, Hamilton and Butte and are staffed by physicians and other care providers from Providence St. Patrick Hospital and the University of Montana. Our physicians travel to other communities to help maintain heart health across the region. 

Our staff understands that families and loved ones have unique needs and concerns and are an important part of the healing process. We make sure your questions are answered and your family’s needs are met during outpatient care. We will communicate promptly with your personal physician.

As part of the Providence Heart Institute network, we are able to share expertise with a seamless network of cardiac and vascular providers across seven states.

With specialty training and cohesive heart care services, our local providers are able to share their clinical knowledge with providers and patients in service areas outside our own footprint, allowing us to live up to our Mission of providing care to all. In turn, our team is able to access the larger Providence network to continue to advance cardiac research, clinical trials and breakthrough procedures.
