Latino Health Promoters Program
The Latino Health Promoters Program is composed of bilingual (English/Spanish) Community Health Workers/Health Promoters who are trusted members of the community. The Community Health Workers work with local schools, churches, health clinics and community-based organizations throughout the San Fernando Valley, with a focus on our most vulnerable neighborhoods. They link people with services, as well as bring awareness to health-related issues. The Program serves participants of all ages and provides health education, health information, resource referrals, and health fairs/special events, at no cost to families.
