Pulmonary Rehabilitation
Our Approach
The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center helps patients with qualifying pulmonary diseases learn how to successfully manage the daily challenges of living with chronic respiratory conditions. This program consists of education and exercise classes that are tailored to your current functional ability, pulmonary status and physical fitness.
Our program is a comprehensive outpatient total body wellness program that meets three times a week over the course of 6–8 weeks. Designed for patients with chronic respiratory disease, the program includes:
- Education and skills development for healthy living and stress management
- Monitored in-person sessions
- Supervised exercises
The goal of our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is to help you improve your quality of life and control your symptoms. Call our office to schedule a consultation.
Our program’s intent is to complement your doctor’s care, not replace it.
A physician referral is required to enroll in this program. We can fax a referral order to your doctor’s office.
You may be eligible for our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program if you’ve experienced any of the following:
- COVID with persistent symptoms and respiratory dysfunction that last longer than 4 weeks
- Lung cancer
- Moderate to severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- Obesity-related respiratory disease or ventilator dependency
