Our pediatric palliative care team understands the pain and challenges you face. As caregivers, we’re here to serve the needs of infants, children, adolescents and families during your journey with gentle and compassionate medical, emotional and spiritual support.
At Providence, we offer children with potentially life-limiting conditions comprehensive care to support your wishes and ease your child’s pain. These are important moments, so we’re here to keep your child and your family comfortable and focused on each other.
Our pediatric palliative care team works with families and other care teams in our hospital to identify patients who would benefit from palliative care support. If your child needs palliative care, we’ll meet with your family to develop a personalized care plan.
We partner with you to see what resources you need for treatment in our hospital. If you cannot receive care in our hospital, we will work with you to find care as close as possible. Every member of our medical care team is focused on making sure we are providing your child with the treatment that gives them the highest quality of life possible.
Your pediatric palliative care team is here for your mental, physical and spiritual needs throughout treatment. We get all of our medical care team involved to develop the best plan for your child and your family.
