Our Approach

At Providence Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, your child is cared for by a team that understands cancer and blood disorders affect the whole family. Led by pediatric oncologists, we provide specialized care for children with cancer, hemophilia, thrombosis and other blood disorders, as well as medication infusions for children receiving care from other pediatric specialty teams.

Your child’s care team includes oncologists, specialty-trained nurses, pharmacists and supportive care experts who work together to meet your child’s medical, emotional and developmental needs.

We also support siblings and family members through diagnosis, treatment and life after treatment. Our social workers, chaplains and child life specialists help families navigate difficult transitions with compassion, practical guidance and age-appropriate support.
