Improving access to care and health care coverage are among several important social determinants for enjoying a healthy life. By meeting people where they are, whatever their circumstances, the Providence family of organizations is removing obstacles to care. We’re strong advocates for preserving and expanding coverage of crucial safety net programs and making care more accessible for more people. Community Investment Stories

In the rolling farmland of rural Walla Walla County in Washington, there often are many miles between students and the schools they attend. The closest hospital often is even further.
YWCA Passage Point opened its doors in Maple Valley, Wash., in 2012 to provide transitional housing and comprehensive, wrap-around services for parents released from incarceration.
Covenant Health Plainview Dental Outreach program provides four full days of dental clinic services to the Plainview, Texas community every month.
