Our certified phlebotomists work to make your visit as quick and comfortable as possible. They complete more than 300,000 blood draws each year and care for patients of all ages, including children.
Our phlebotomists are supported by licensed pathologists, board-certified medical laboratory scientists, medical laboratory technicians and lab assistants. Together, our team helps ensure you and your doctor receive accurate results as quickly as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Some tests require fasting. If your doctor instructed you to fast, don’t eat or drink anything except water for 10 to 12 hours before your blood is drawn. You should keep taking your medications unless your doctor says otherwise. It’s important to drink water during fasting because it hydrates your veins and helps make blood draws easier. It’s also a good idea to bring a snack with you so you can eat immediately after your blood draw.
Your physician or surgeon will receive your results, and their office will contact you directly. A copy of your results will also be available in MyChart.
