Outpatient Procedure Center
Your doctor will tell you how to prepare for your procedure, such as what you can eat and drink beforehand. We’ll also ask you about your health history and find about any allergies you have or medicines you’re taking.
Make sure you talk to your doctor before your procedure if you have any unexpected medical problems such as a fever, cold, cough or flu — we may need to reschedule. If you have any questions or concerns before your procedure, call your doctor.
Please arrange for an adult to take you to and from your procedure. You should also have them, or another adult, stay with you for 24 hours while you recover at home.
If you need a medical procedure that doesn’t require an overnight stay, you can count on the capable hands of the surgical team at Providence. Our team uses advanced equipment and the latest minimally invasive approaches to get you home the same day as your surgery.

Your surgery companion can drop you off at the front door using our convenient drive-through entrance. We’ll welcome you in and help you get situated while they park nearby. After your surgery, we’ll let them know how you’re doing and give them instructions for caring for you at home.
