Welcome to Providence Occupational Medicine – A Tower. We’re dedicated to helping workers navigate on-the-job injuries, no matter where they work. If illnesses or injuries happen, we provide prompt medical care and assistance with claims management, health screenings and regulatory compliance.

As part of Providence Medical Group, we offer a range of occupational health care services, including pre-employment physicals, rehabilitation programs and support for Labor & Industries (L&I) claims and back-to-work assistance. We also coordinate all aspects of care across Providence's integrated system, whether you need occupational or physical therapy, convenient access to radiology or a primary care appointment.

Treatments and Services

Occupational and Environmental Medicine (OEM) treats resultant injuries and illnesses, and promotes the health, wellness and resiliency of workers and communities. OEM providers use a multidisciplinary approach to recognize, diagnose, treat and prevent injury and illness that arise from exposures at work.

Our team works with you to reduce pain and coordinate your care while fostering confidence and independence through customized rehabilitation programs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to fill out paperwork. Your initial visit will last approximately 40 minutes. We’ll discuss your medical history, any specific concerns and your goals for rehabilitation.

Dress in comfortable clothing and be prepared to participate in basic movement assessments and exercises during the initial visit.

Please bring the following to each appointment:

  • Your photo ID
  • Detailed history of symptoms and treatments
  • Full list of medications with dosages, including over-the-counter supplements
  • Comfortable clothing you can easily move in
  • List of questions for your care team

No, you don’t need a referral before scheduling an appointment with us. Walk-ins are also welcome.

If you prefer, you can ask your doctor to send us a referral for evaluation and treatment, and we will follow-up with you to schedule your first appointment.
